Whoa. Source video?
Add me to the list!
Just another MK2 VR6
Jetta coupe, OBD1 VR with cams, intake, exhaust, and every delete except P/S. Hauls ass, destroys oil pans.
WAT?! How have you not broken it to pieces?:what:
^^ My god that R is perfect. Great work!!:eek:
Not mine but I wish:
And the blue on the right is a VI R.
Looks beautiful!
Just curious, what are you running for oil pan/pump?
I know but I wanted to post here and get some feedback before cutting the pan open again. A fellow vw enthusiast is going to cut a chunk under the pump and weld it back on lower for more clearance....
Thanks for the reply! No I did not use sealant (only did on the pan's flange) and yes both bushings were on the shaft.
In hindsight, I should've just spend the extra $100 and gotten a Eurowise pan...
Do you happen to have pics of your pan? Are you running the R pump?
Thanks for the reply! In order to drive the car, I put the stock parts back in temporarily. The pump is driven by a shaft and it was 100% in there. I don't see how it could fail to drive the pump....
I have a MK2 VR6 that sits fairly low, and as all of us MK2 VR owners know, the oil pan hangs well below the subframe. To mitigate this, I acquired a MK5 R32 oil pump which has shorter...
Just a random suggestion, you should put a link to your website in your sig for the lazy.
Got it running
Haha I know but I thought it looked really cool
It's from a Eurovan ;)
Both are photoshops but awesome nonetheless:
Anyone have moar pics of this car?
Where'd you get the 5-spd 20th AE GTI style knob from? Looks good :thumbup:
Looking for a used oil pump that came in the MK5 R32s, need it for a lowered MK2 VR6 since it has the shorter pickup tube.
Alternatively, does anyone know where I can source just the pickup tube...
