Since the vehicle I am looking for is used, it will be a purchase. I am done with leasing. Also, I would never put money down on a lease.

He has had a ton of electrical problems. Seems they fix one issue and another pops up.
Also, doesn't help that he was just rear ended 2 weeks ago. $14k damage. Yikes!
Have considered Nissan, but the dealer that is convenient to us is absolutely horrible. Always had bad time when we have had to take my daughter's Frontier in for service.
Buddy of mine here at work traded his GTI for an ATS. Think he has had a loaner for longer than he has been able to drive his "new" car. :laugh:

Either 2 or 4 doors are fine. Need midsize+ vehicle for trunk space to haul stuff.

My view of the GTI is exactly as you described. Worth a look I suppose, have always liked them just couldn't get over the stigma of them.
