Once the belt is off, and the tensioner is fully extended, you can't get to the head of the lower alternator bolt unless you compress the tensioner. That means it's easier just to remove it, it's...

The BEA will work, but I'm not sure about in OEM form. The point of the swap is assumed increased power potential and tuning options. Tuners should be able to put AWP based files on the BEA ECU,...

Yeah, it's pretty much always easier to pull the motor and trans. Now you know. The thought of trying to get the banjo bolts started into the turbo while sitting on your knees on the intake...

It's a trial and error process, but you can eliminate almost all of the gear chatter from having a single mass FW by adjusting idle rpm and idle torque using Unisettings/Lemmiwinks.

The .64 just felt choked with more and more boost. I think the most I ever made was mid to high 300's FWHP. The .73 HKS housing took me to ~420 FWHP on 23psi/pump gas and ~470 FWHP on ~29 psi/110...

Had a 3076 on a .64 housing. Don't do it. Upgraded to an external WG .73 housing. Both were on 1.8's. It was better, but not as good as a smaller turbo in a more appropriate housing.
