My wagon fetish included:
1987 740 Turbo Wagon
2004 S4 Avant
2010 A4 Avant
2012 JSW TDI
Test drove the C6 Avant and nearly purchased it, but ended up with the A4 Avant instead.
BS. The C300 I test drove was $48K and nearly fully loaded, and had the same interior.
It had 4Matic, Airmatic, bi-xenons, 8.4 in. nav, Burmester stereo and panoramic sunroof.
I agree, the interior is out of this world for a $40K car. It easily shames my $60K E class. The detailing is first-class, especially the air vents and the Burmester stereo grilles. :)
End of next year for the diesel (2.1L probably) is what my dealer is saying. My salesperson has a pretty good track record so I believe him. He was also right about the V-class/Vito. No confirmation...
So no word of this coming to the US?
It would be great to see this go against the Sprinter, Transit, Promaster and NV. I must say it looks the best out of the group, like an updated Sprinter.
no wagon no care
I disagree. The rear is the best angle for this car. It has an Italian vibe to it, ala Alfa or Ferrari.
Well either way you are getting $7,500 (+$2,500 from CA) back, whether it's in one big chunk on a tax return or spread over the term of a lease. For some people leasing is better since they don't...
Seth Elson might need to find a new job if these are actually renderings of the car.
The interior is a bit of a letdown compared to the flashy concept, but $37,990 is reasonably priced for a 7-seat LR. Just wish they would bring the diesel option over.
Technically the dealer gets the tax credit, but they pass it to you on the lease. My FFE lease was $10,000 off sticker due to tax credits.
How did they all fit in the Miata?
I pay $0.11 per kWh to charge my Focus between midnight and 6am here in LA. Edison has a special plan for EVs that charges by time of day.
The e-Golf is made in Wolfsburg: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JhPtvOGR_vA
That shag carpeting is a pretty neat touch!
Interesting. So I assume this will afflict the 2016 models as the 2015 models remain MLs, two of which are new:
8.9 sec. according to one test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32fL-CWgJ70
That's faster than the Leaf, Volt and Focus Electric.
Not bad considering only 115 hp. The 3,020 lbs. curb weight...
I own a E250 Bluetec and have driven the E350. In everyday driving they are very comparable. Of course the diesel is down on max. power, but the extra torque makes up for it.
2.1L I4 Diesel: 195...
True, to get the diesel in the PM and Transit would put it close to the Sprinter, but Ford and Chrysler are totally price-gouging the customer as they know the diesel commands a premium. I doubt the...
