I found and fixed the problem, it was the vacuum source connecting to the turbo itself that had also come off. Thanks for the help!

No, it doesn't feel like 27 psi, though I've let off every time as soon as I see that much boost. I'll try it again and keep an eye on the wideband.

My initial thought was the extra air coming in...

No, it was the line to the fuel pressure regulator. It came off the plastic nipple that connects to some of the other lines. It's back on now.

I guess this means I have another possible vacuum...
    4. Vacuum line popped off, car now overboosting

I had a vacuum line come off the other day while driving and my car started reading 27 psi on my boost gauge under boost. It should only be hitting 12 psi with the wastegate spring I have installed...

Sorry for the necrobump, but I did some logs and noticed my maf numbers seemed low compared to what I thought it should be (150 g/s)

Does C2/UM scale the maf readings? What kind of numbers should...

Are you sure it's not the traction control light that is flashing? This may seem obvious, and you probably know the difference between the traction control light and check engine light, but I thought...

Occasionally my car will also do this on cold starts; I have to turn it off and back on again, sometimes a few times in a row, and then it will be back to normal. I have no idea why this happens, but...

My issue is definitely fueling related. I got my AEM wide band installed yesterday; my car will randomly go super rich at idle (10:1) and die out, and is going lean under boost (14-15:1). This is...

I appreciate the response; everything is indeed the correct part for the tune. The thing I Have listed are things I have changed over the past 3 years since I purchased the car from a friend of mine...

No problem man, I've had to deal with similar problems and I know it's very frustrating! It's easy to sync up a new ecu, just unhook the battery, install the ecu, re hook battery, then put the key in...

Do you mean you'd have to get it reflashed because you have a tune on it? You can put in a stock ecu and sync it to your key with vcds-lite, which is free, and a cheap ebay vag-com cable if you don't...

Sounds like your describing backfiring. It's not necessarily a big deal, but could indicate that the car is running a bit rich.

I'd go ahead and replace the ecu, you can find them on ebay for about $100. Only other thing I can think of is the primary o2 sensor, but if you can't communicate with the ecu, I'd replace that first.

Yeah, it seems the main issue for a faulty fuel pump check valve is hard starts, and my cars starts up fine every time. I did notice that when I step on the gas, my fuel pressure does not change, it...

No wideband yet, I keep having to purchase other things first. I just had to have the transmission rebuilt and buy a new clutch; apparently it still makes enough power to strip 2nd and 3rd gear :(

To be honest, I've changed so many things over the years, it's hard to say exactly. I got it back up running, and it still isn't quite right.

I sent the ECU back to C2 for them to swap the tune...

It's going to be too small and not worth it; it's just going to run out of breath and leave you wanting more. The smallest turbo I would even consider running on a vr6 is a t3/t4 .63 a/r.

Did a couple dyno pulls on wastegate boost (12.5 psi) to check a/f ratio today. Car was running very lean at 14.5:1, so we stopped and checked codes again. Only 1 code this time, Bank 1 sensor 1, no...

Any Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts should be able to scan for codes for you, I'm pretty sure even their generic scanner should be able to identify some of your codes. I personally just bought the...
