      That has nothing to do with it at all. Increasing your OCIs will not make the cam last longer. I'd get the cam inspected by a TDI mechanic before even thinking of buying this car. That's a $1300...

      They like to puke head gaskets, also make sure the rear diff isn't very rusty, if it is you'll need to swap the entire rear end (Why Toyota decided to not use a rear diff cover is laughable)
