I'm considering Golf R replicas.
Fall 2014 pics. now APR stage II and lowered on H&R sport springs.
doubt you'll get any input on this. just make sure you'll come back if you blow a motor or make it a couple years without issue.
no need to delete, others will value the info in the future.
if they don't mention the well known/documented problem with A3s of aftermarket HID kits blowing up the wiper motor than chances are they have not tested against it and you might be in for an...
the worst part is ignorant people will be lining up to buy them.
my advice is skip the catback and get a catless downpipe (+ software tune of your choice). It give the car a really nice growl and I liked it so much I didn't even bother with a catback (which makes...
as far as I know my 06' A3 is on it's original ball joints and I have 130k
all of my bmws are like every 30k

if you want the best power for the money, get a downpipe and stage 2 software (you can pick the brand).
the intake and cataback are 98.123489723% sound only and won't get you any power.
man it's dead in here.
I've been using shell rotella T6 since I got the car and it's strong at 120k. 1 gallon for $20 at walmart is hard to beat and it's a really really good oil.
just find somebody who upgraded their turbo on any of the FSI motors and buy their used one. That's that I did, I think I paid something like $400. I paid another $400 or so to get it installed.
I had the exact same symptoms with my A3 (same engine). It ended up being the turbo seals. Oil was leaking into the downpipe and burning up in the exhaust. I had to replace the turbo.
