If you have the $$$, get Dli-Teknik Transmission Mount and Dli-Teknik Engine Mount. They are much better and I don't have to worry about change the insert after few years.

My old inserts was almost 4 years old. If I remembered correctly from my old email with them, it is 78 durometer. it's bit stiffer than VF and I think you can use BSH insert in VF mount.
I have it for about a month or so, it works well so far.

I checked my dogbone inert over the weekend. It is toasted, I need to order replacement. it's able to move about half inch like you said.
That remind me to check the BSH dogbone polys. I installed it with blue HPA puck almost 4 years ago.
Side note: When I installed the DLI 2 months ago, my OEM mounts were so bad, I can easily...
