Does anybody know if I can downsize the 18" wheel to a lighter 17"?
Thinking I can do a Nuespeed 17" wheel that weighs 17lbs and change tires to Pilot Supersports...
missing a key feature here.
STOCK= No adjustment, 20% reduction
VFE= 25% and 40% reduction options.
I will be taking the VFE over OEM on this one. No brainer :beer:
This sounds like a cool idea, but some people would mess this up and cause more damage than good.
It would be easier to just spend 120 on a true short shift kit....

There are much better solutions for cheaper.
I used this on my weekend project car as it would charge but not overcharge and hurt the battery....

This will be my first mod on my 2012 GTI. It is a no brainer. They make a great product and are a good bunch to work with.
On my MK5 GTI, I have 4 compressors and 3 total AC systems replaced.
They are not using quality components for these systems any longer.

Boost leak. Get a boost gauge installed and see what you have.
My 2006 MK5 GTI had these functioning. They do tend to be a nice feature!

It is still quote noisy but they don't need to be changed so often now and they grip more consistantly than the old dry...
