While I haven't installed mine yet for this car, I had one for the MK6 R. It was typical for vacuum to be showing around -21 at all times off throttle.

Assuming you're on the non DCC version R.....
The suspension is likely very similar, but not identical due to the R having more weight due to AWD.
You could just put it in Race mode, and then manual mode from there.

At least for the MK6, the Dongle was just an offered accessory. You could still use the stalk if you preferred.
Currently, it is a very nice looking paperweight.
Steering options are amazing. Comfort is super light, Normal is basically perfect for daily driving, and Race is very heavy (for when you want that). :thumbup:
