This was going to be my suggestion as well. It's tough to say how much it will depreciate in 2-3 yes but my guess would be that it will hold value well due to the exclusiveness of the 2.5T.

Somebody help the guy out. I'd look at cleaning the MAF and throttle body. You can start by unplugging the MAF and see if the stumble goes away.

Can you try it with the old ECM? Is it possible that something bumped the crank sensor during removal / install? That sensor failure is pretty common on the APB motors.
Cincinnati (and likely all of Ohio) allows Metro busses in the break down lane.
This is probably way late but it will help if you hand crank the motor a little until you find the optimal spot. I think TDC was enough for me to swap out my tensioner seals but I could get more...
