Thanks for rehabilitating a rescue dog.
Get the DSG service done. Might be a bit of placebo effect going on, but I always notice the shifts tightening up after ordinary service.
Also, I like...
Yeah, that's the point of the trip, shake hands with some FB/Vortex friends I've never met!
Looking forward to it.
Two months for mine, two years for J-me.
I think you can do better than those.
I'm hoping Sixt comes through with an Audi, but no guarantees.
You can make fun of my rental car.
Where is Willow Grove?
I did a cap and then a coolant bottle this past year. I guess they age out, though I have over twice your miles.
I probably didn't need to do the cap first, but it was low hanging fruit. My...
I wonder if you're blocked in this area:
I could see you maybe...
I had one drilled out and a new 'bushing' inserted from the top. I don't know if your...
There's no simple answer.

For those that have installed it on a...
The behavior of the MFD is a little different with United Motorsports DSG / ECU tune - I forget precisely how.
The UM tune seems to be the clear favorite of enthusiasts here in the USA for this...
Also, I'd consider a crack pipe, low temp thermostat and pulley work (fluidamper and lightened accessory pulleys) while you've got it apart.
Are you using the brake, or just coasting? Might make a difference. The brake is a big 'signal' to the DSG clutches. Not sure how it works precisely rolling to a stop.
If you're pulling the head anyway, low hanging fruit would be to hog out the head gasket to enable more coolant flow. Gasket restricts coolant flow to ensure vehicle warms up quickly and runs warm...
Nice time, J-me.
Why did you get tossed, too fast for your safety gear or something?
It's the same lever.
(From memory) - the headlight washer fires the first time you use the windshield washer each trip, but the headlight washer goes back to sleep for the next four times you do...
