The thing is, the 1.4T is very appealing. It's a potential modification platform in a way that SkyActiv isn't. For enthusiasts, it's perfect in some ways.

It's really not. If you price them trim-for-trim in terms of the things you'd actually want to have, the Fiat's cheaper.
