Get the GTI, it's lighter(MPG) and eventually you can opt for DSG and make it more DD. Winter is not critical factor for the GTI which is proven to be very good in the snow.
I like my current GTI, but even with a bunch of mods such as the KO4, I do still miss my Corrado and that one is the one I really love, will buy one again in the future [emoji53]
My Corrado SLC was not a light car by regular standards: I used to call it the Decapitador due no airbags, and some other heavy stuff I removed to the car, the driving experience was awesome with...
