      I have had a small leak at the header to cat joint for some time now. It's a Raceland header with a Magnaflow cat. I've tried a new "donut" seal and it still leaks. I've tried adding "muffler mud"......

      Another good (and cheap) sound deadening idea is to stuff all the voids with foam padding. I got this suggestion from another member on here and in addition to the butyl dampening it really helps out...
