      Looks awesome,as always. Really hate to see this up for sale. It's been one of my inspirations. It's nice to see a car that stands out in a crowd, yet is so simple without tons of money thrown at it....

      [QUOTE=Idkyet;85975439]

      I think with a 195 or 205 tire, I could have went 8.90s. This is with a stock ccm 3.38 tranny, and no lsd. 200,000 mile motor.

      One of the most common fixes you used to hear back in the day was oil pump. It was recommended to get an aba pump, due to increased oil pressure. With the age of these engines now though, I agree...

    9. Re: How to build a relatively inexpensive, reliable, powerful Vr6.

      All I have around me is 1/8 mile tracks. Mine did a 9.08 spinning badly through 1st and 2nd. I was on a 175/50/15 street tire, with a stock 3.38 tranny. The only things done to mine are mk4 hg, 1.8t...

      The first pic is an air conditioning line. The second should be cruise control, and the third is the throttle cable for cruise control.

      I'm not disagreeing with you, but from what I'm gathering, he is trying to run the whole mk3 spindle/brake setup. If all he had were the calipers, then he would need different spindles.

      Use the mk3 spindle. Bolts right up as long as you're using late model 90-92 ball joints. Everything else stays the same.

      I've done that twice already. 1500 then compound/polish/fine polish/2 coats of wax. Lasted about 4 months. Thanks for the input though.

      The only difference between an a/c and non a/c radiator is length. Most companies sell the one for a/c because it is the more common one.

      Sorry, to answer your question, I use meguires high tech yellow wax. Doesn't last long, but goes on/off easy and brings the color back really nice.
