I painted them white, but these are OEM wheels. And not from a VW.
Everything you need to fix an air-cooled VW. The 10mm/13mm combination wrench will see the most use.
Ro80. A fairly clean one came up on ebay about 10 years ago and went for $1800...still kicking myself for not bidding on it.
That most likely has the 091 6-rib transmission...should handle a 1.8T without any issues. It's the same transmission used in air-cooled busses with a different bellhousing.
Both gaskets are included. I'd probably go down to $50.
I would agree with the 1500-2000 range. If the cage is up to date and has a current log book, maybe a couple hundred more.
If an alloy wheel hits a curb while sliding through a corner in the snow, it's expensive to fix. If a steel wheel hits a curb, it can be straightened with a sledge hammer.
