You ever get the front brake clearance issue sorted out?
Nope, got a new job teaching High School art.
This build (and that trans) look familiar. I used to work for HS.
If you still need some volunteers I can throw a set on my 1.8T. I have it on stands for a suspension overhaul anyways and my old lines are pretty crusty.
Nothing other than the gasket is needed. Make sure you remember to put the gasket in around the spark plug holes or else they'll let oil pour out into the spark plug areas.
Pending sale to unpimpZauto.
No one really made straight replacement bushings for the engine side mount, but BFI (blackforestindustries.com) offers inserts for the transmission side mount, around $90 I believe.
Votex hatch spoiler for sale!
Did you attempt to fix the rust issue prior to visiting the dealer for the rust warranty? I had my hatch and drivers door replaced, along with the sections of the roof below the front roof rail feet...
Pretty sure I will be selling my wagon later this year after 8 years of ownership. Will probably put it back to stock and transfer some parts to my 2004 Jetta sedan that I got for a steal last fall....
Not that I have seen. It was never an option on any VW wagon. And with the way the rear of the wagons are designed )underfloor storage, spare tire, etc.) it would probably be very difficult to pull...
I've had these on my 1.8t for the last year with ZERO issues and blend in well with the valve cover when installed. For under $5 each they do the same job as the metal ones.
Gas for all three vehicles: $100
Fall flowers (happy wife happy life): $40
And this sweet RAB stealth light for the garage renovation:
I have a glovebox, and ebrake handle. I also have most of the other interior sedan parts, pillars, lower trim, lights, visors, etc.
