Something like this?
I don't see why not - there's no particularly unique technology in a Model S and VW is much better than Tesla when it comes to actually assembling vehicles.
Piech stepped down as CEO in 2002. He's been chairman of the supervisory board since then.
Whilst he's unlikely to have any executive role at VW, Matthias Mueller was his choice for CEO following...
Whilst the update will just be a software patch, there's obviously going to be a trade-off elsewhere otherwise why would VW have made the deception in the first place?
And WiKo is out. My guess is that Matthias Mueller will get the top spot now.
Well, Ferdinand Piech was known for getting involved in manufacturing plant meetings where the minutiae of production processes and budgets were being worked out and generally making sure he knew...
In an organisation as hierarchical as VW I can't believe that this wasn't known about at board level. It's also funny how this story emerges two weeks before Winterkorn was supposed to have his...
No, but I have and if anyone's interested, I've totted up all the invoices for my CL55 that the previous owner and I had to suffer since the original Mercedes warranty expired.
A few thousand...
I'd actually say the Polo comes out of that collision remarkably well. There's no obvious deformation of the A-pillar and, although it's hard to be certain, it doesn't appear as if the steering...
That's worse than my CL55 gets!
Try Googling "phaeton suspension ssp".
It keeps popping up on Autotrader regularly, as if the owner is having trouble selling it...
Fixed it for you!
It's a GP3 so built from 2010 onwards. For some reason it has a UK numberplate form the first half of 2002 which, because of the "VW" on it is probably a cherished plate owned by VW UK.
Sorry to hear about the issues with your best-beloved. Have you considered doing a part-exchange towards a newer model?
Only if they have a DPF (which the V10 disnae have...)
I may be imagining things, but I seem to recall that PD engines like the V10 aren't supposed to be given the 504.00/507.00 spec oils because of the higher stresses that the injector cam experiences....
Although I may be wrong, the only suspension adjustments that can be performed on the Phaeton are the toe settings (by adjusting the track rod ends) and matching the camber on either side of the axle...
I can do better. My P was taken to the dealer for a possible manifold leak. I was informed the manifold was fine but that there was a hole in the cylinder head which would need replacement.
Mike, the Inspiration wheels do indeed look excellent... on a W8 :P
