Its just as bad in person.
2003 C5 Z06, 16-17 years old, brother in passenger seat, winding road in the suburbs. Road take an uphill off camber left going a bit too fast. Totally out of my skill zone at the time. Car...
I do. Very rarely do I have anyone come in asking about 0-60 times. However, power and torque come up fairly often when I'm selling cars.
People are more likely to spot the difference in power ratings than their 0-60 times in a magazine.
The N20 is definitely underrated. However the Caddy is still making more power as it runs away from the BMW past 100mph. Now, that's not useful for most but there is a difference.
Now the gearing isn't good enough?!
Wow. Didn't know getting that extra 2-3 tenths was that important.
Good review. Sounds like the constant improvements to the engine and transmission have paid off.
Makes me believe that the ATS-V will be more than a match for the M3/M4.
Apparently Vengeance and LMR say that the IAT Temps on the LT4 stay very consistent and are much better than the C6 ZR1. I think the ECU is extremely conservative to keep it together for the full...
Put on a set of Kuhmo LX tires today. Car was dead silent on the highway. Could't believe the difference between them and the stock Continentals.
Very reminiscent of how the C4 Corvette was more stable at very high speeds than the C5.
All-aluminum V10 vs iron block V8 with huge S/C and intercooler sitting on top...nah.
No there isn't. Mainly because 99% of Corvette buyers actually like how it looks from all angles.
Good looking car.http://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.corvetteforum.com-vbulletin/2000x1333/80-c7_z_lowered_59c2848143d786590c137f06d3662d26c0364853.jpg
Only been selling cars since June but its pretty fun. There's some dull and exciting moments just like any other job. My goal is to move off of the sales floor as soon as possible though...
Yes, have them all switch to aluminum with no added cost. That's the ticket. Good thing they make 900K examples of each of these to reduce the costs of doing that. Not.
Absolutely ridiculous. The amount of low-end torque the LT1 and LT4 make is crazy. That's the best difference between the new LT's and LS engines.
Where do you people come up with this stuff?
As for the Jag, its incredibly fun on the street so I'll give it a pass...
On an 8 year old platform at that. Pretty incredible what they've done with it.
Anyway, the Golf R is pretty awesome. Just my opinion.
The AMG motor most likely has a lot left in it. A LOT. Wouldn't be surprised to see them slowly turn up the wick as time goes on.
The Burmeister system in the 991 is mind blowing. The sheer power and clarity that it produces with the top down on the highway is crazy.
