A few of my current set up
It's great to see there are still some nice stock/low mileage examples of these GLI 16vs out there, outside of the two I own that is. ;) Its also good to see where prices are going with these.
Great project! Is that new hood OE? If so, where did you get it? VW Heritage?
This is a very timely thread. We picked up a '15 GC Limited V6 this past Saturday (11/14). Its a nice compromise package, getting some nice features (automatic tailgate, touch screen) but not...
I was working in Tysons Corner, VA which is right outside of DC. I was sitting at work emailing with a buddy. He was at home watching TV when he reports a plane just hit the WTC. I'll never forget...
Yes, it looks like a fairly loaded '91 GLI was just under $18k....$31k in today's money.
I've had three MKIV's. The '03 and '04.5 GLIs I had no complaints with...loved them. Our first MKIV, a 1999.5 2.0 Jetta was a different story...the only VW I've ever owned that broke down on me....
Hey Scott, good to see you still have the MKII. What are your plans?
Here is a picture of our MKII's together back in 2006! Cool we both are holding onto them...

Looking good Scott! I see the track bug has bitten you.
I think this article is on point for this discussion:
Guilty as charged.
I gave the '90 a long overdue coolant flush/change to G12 and installed a new coolant reservoir. Much better
Very interested. I sent you an IM.
I received mine in the mail today. Thank you!
I am very interested. I sent you an IM. Thanks.
1966 Chevy Impala. I will always have a soft spot for these cars and hope to own one day
