I'd get a GTE or GTD.
I bought my GTI new January 18, 2012. It's a 4-door manual with sunroof and convenience. It currently has about 33,000 miles on it. It has had the following service done (that I can remember):
31, attorney, 2012 GTI 4-door
I just pulled my invoices.
The first time, in May 2013, I had 21k miles and it was replaced with part 06J-121-026-AT.
As above, the one this week was replaced in part number ending in "BB".
And it was the water pump.
Dealer replaced today in about 4 hours with part number 06J121026BB. Not sure what one was in there (have to search for invoice from last repair to see if same part#)
Well, noticed big pink spot in my garage and the coolant reservoir is below the "min" line. Looks like I'll be on water pump no. 3 soon. Now at 32k miles.
Maybe I'll file a class action...
If you like the Audi more and can afford the maintenance on it, keep the Audi. If you can't afford (or are scared of) the maintenance on the Audi or like the Accord more, keep the Accord.
Yeah, two things that have nothing to do with one another. What you see as a "tissy fit" I see as telling discourtesy *******s to not be.
I guess you've never shared your displeasure with someone...
Nope, not really looking for approval. Although I will sure find it funny when some of the people who have responded stating I was wrong for doing what I did post a thread when their car gets dinged...
That's because he was from Los Angeles. The people who give it the "stigma" of "hollyweird" (as you call it) are the losers from places like Ohio and Texas and Georgia and North Dakota who move here...
I'll get a life as soon as you learn how to spell.
Irwin gets me.
I like this guy. He's good people.
I demean lazy people whether they make minimum wage or drink mai tai's living off investments. I actually support a living wage, but that's slightly off topic.
I freely admit that.
I keep a...
My family had the following MKIV 2.0s
1999 Jetta 2.0 with a manual. In 160k miles limited problems. I think it needed a fuel injector at 120k miles or so and the cat was replaced under warranty at...
Your car deserves to be dinged in every parking lot you ever park in.
I feel bad for you. Do the turn signals in your BMW work or are they faulty like most BMWs?
I still hate you (tbh, no...
I normally do to. But since this was a clearly identified business vehicle in front of the business I couldn't help myself.
Oh, that's not my car parked next to it. ;)
They went out and moved the van.
I should add it was a 15' walk as this was right in front of the business and took about 25 seconds total.
Ok, so we all know I'm a dick. The question here is not whether I'm a dick generally, but whether my specific actions here are dickish.
So after eating lunch just now I was walking to my car and...
