depends how many miles on the block and how the walls look. i put rods and pistons in a block with 15k miles and it looked brand new. Did not hone.

actually in those 3 years i started it once. I had gonzo flash my ecu. So it hasn't really been warmed up occasionally.
injectors are new. I'm going to disconnect the cat and see how it runs. the fact that it would not rev leads me to believe its clogged.
this is what i was going to do. A/F at idle was fine but just putting around the block i didn't get a chance to look, was busy making sure it wouldn't die on me.

so i fired her up today and it seems like the cat is clogged. car was sputtering, wouldn't rev and the cat was glowing red. i guess it somehow clogged up just sitting parked.
the cars been in hibernation for the past 3 years. finally got her registered again and decided to fire her up. she woke up but was sputtering and had no power, would not rev. Looked under the car...

man id love to have the drivetrain in my 20vt.... just part it out and sell me the drivetrain LOL
for a number of reasons. mainly just life. got married and just got busy with other things in life.
another reason was you mod and get the car to a point where its not really useable, unfortunately...
