If I had to say what the Abarth first reminded me of was those first GTIs back in the 80s. Not a whole bunch of power but light, cheap and tossable. The Abarth has more power, but is also probably a...

My wife and I got a 500 Sport a little over a year ago. We no longer need largish vehicles and we wanted some better MPGs. Of course we both liked the Abarth, but our local dealer had crazy markups...

Re: Help me choose a car for my wife

I also vote for a v6 mustang with performance pack and recaros. You might have to drive it from time to time.

Re: talk me out of this

If you're happy with the performance of an R/T, I'd save a metric butt ton of money and buy a 3.7l Mustang. Mustang mods are cheap in comparison to import mods. I owned a Z, a GTI and Eos and was...

I would say that's a somewhat misinformed statement. Maybe that would be a great recommendation with the old v6, but honestly you get performance and economy on a budget which the 5.0 doesn't offer....

I traded my Eos 2.0T Sport in on a 2011 v6 mustang. I drove the GTI extensively before the Eos came out which is what made me buy the Eos. Great quality, almost Audi-like and a good all around...

I indirectly considered the same vehicles the OP did. I owned an 07 Eos 2.0T and flashed the ECU with APR software to get the additional 50HP. It was a great car until I started having issues with...

      Re: interior questions (matt_cliford)

This is why I no longer buy light colored interiors. I had a similar leather interior a few cars back and had blue and black being transferred from jeans etc to the leather. What I ended up doing...

      Re: Spring change feedback? (karloseos)

Yes the springs were sport springs, not OE sport or racing springs.

      Re: Spring change feedback? (cb391)

The car was a Sport. I put H&R Sport Springs on the car which lowered it about 1.5". It doesn't look like a Subaru Forester anymore hehe. I can't believe how much like stock it rides. I think it...

      Re: (Steve S.)

I would definitely recommend the APR ECU flash. They also offer a trial period so you can try before you buy. I think for $600 it was a great modification that not only gained me 52HP but also a...

Re: What grade of fuel do you use? (OregonEOS)

OregonEos, I don't want to start a flame war, but what you just described is hardly scientific. Unless you absolutely knew when you traveled what speeds, were completely consistent each way as well...

I just installed H&R Sport springs on my Eos 2.0T and can't speak highly enough about them.
