Anyone know if it is possible to buy a system you can control via the original controls`?
I'm thinking that you can use...
What is the standard tyre size for the Passat in the US? In Europe it is
235/45-17 and 235/40-18, so the correct tyre for 20's would be 235/30-20
Sorry, but your thoughts about fueling your engine is that of a beginner......
Get a set of fpr's, chips and injectors to suit your setup before you blow it up. I have been mapping enough of these...
Calm down noob:rolleyes:
If you are running lean with your setup, something is really wrong with your setup. How old is your fuel pump? What AF do you see on your wide band?
BTW, I have been...
Yes, but not all over the place like you have now take the injectors, fpr and pulley off until you can afford a proper chip for your setup
Bore wash aint cheap.......
why have you put in much more fuel in a stock engine?
Right now you are putting in 29% more fuel than you need, for what? Only to have less power:banghead:
I've been running 9x19 ET 33 and 9,5x20 ET 36 without any problems
Look closely at where the front bumper meets the arch, it is not right
The rieger ones have very poor fit....
looks crap too:laugh:
Just remember that the added offset of the pulleys, give you slightly higher bearing wear.
The wide belt and twin belt conversions where originally design to lower the risk of the belt snapping,...
Not worth the money though
gives you no more power, and does not increase reliability
Just go for a 11-12.5 mm one and change it more often:laugh:
For which injectors and head is the chip written for
Fuel and timing requirements are completely different with the 8v and the 16v head
Running a square setup yes, since there is more room for the wheels up front I m going to run spacers in the front now.
Will be picking up some new wheels next week. 9,5x20 ET 37. Going to run 5...
Ultra Lows for Golf 5, BBS RS-GT 9,5x20 ET 36
Problemes? I need a c-notch
Is anyone producing custom tanks, eg tailored to fit spare wheel wells, say "half-moon" shaped, so you can have room for the compressors in front/rear of the tank?
It is easier to use a tire that actually fit:facepalm:
I have 235/30 on my 9,5x20's and they still leak a bit..........
I belive that is either the waterpump or the supercharger. VW have the same problem on the Golf 1,4 TSI. Don't think they have solved it yet
I've used Bar-Tek for years. Never lets me down!
SLS is also supposed to be good.
