To cut through Canada, do you need to have a passport or just a drivers license fine? Someone mentioned an "enhanced license" but is that just for border states or can I get one in Nevada?
Yup. Take 50 into Carson city and go around Lake Tahoe clockwise into Truckee then take 80 home. You can hit Mosquito Ridge out of Auburn at a later point.
