Well, I'm sorry if my language was unclear, but i diagnosed the misfire already. She purrs like a kitten now! But, it did stump me as all of my ignition parts were brand spanking new. Proper ngk 3964...
No pics, but drove car today! All seems fine, once I diagnosed a misfire that seemed to move around, even after new ignition parts.
Yes. I plan on getting a real 1 piece chain this week. If that was the actual failure point, I certainly don't want to do this again.
Actually it's your fault I got a mk4 in the first place  That's why a GLX is in my garage now. Inbox me your number.
That's what I thought at first also, but the inner intermediate sprocket turns perfectly and freely. There is no grab.
Thanks, german2sn. I have not had a 12v in a couple years, as I've had 2 1.8t...
After reexamining it again just now, all curiosities point to that loose upper tensioner rail pivot pin. When I unscrewed it (by fingers, as it was very loose), I noticed that there was a wobble in...
It's hard to tell. All guides and rails were hardly worn, indicating a recent maintenance. The lower parts were spotless! The chain just snapped and not even at the rivet junction. Just in half! Top...
Simply put...I am working on my 01 vr6 that I bought with possible broken chains. Once the upper cover was off, it was evident. Fast forward to today...I removed lower cover to see exactly what had...
Your surge is due to a different reason. Your transmission needs to be read with vcds. You may need maintenance on fluids/filter/solenoids.
Yes. The transmissions are the same. The real difference is that a TDI does not have a "throttle body", but it does have equitable input sensors that function the same. For the purpose of this...
In that case, yes, check the wiring.
It could just simply be the multifunction switch!
As stated in the very beginning, this only helps once verified by vcds that a solenoid is bad or temp sensor code from the tcu reappears after clearing and fluid level checks. Please get a vcds code....
Either one is still awesome!
Amazing! I would have never imagined a 3rotor 010 :)
Please inbox me price.
Added part numbers.
injectors (really only 1, but will buy a set if they are clean)
coolant hose tee (the one that connects from heater hose near top of head to throttle body hoses)
