Hawk HPS suck
Ive had HP+ then tried HPS for the dust and quickly went back to HP+ because the bite and firmness is just that much better
When my brothers cam follower, cam and hpfp were replaced they reused the old chain and tensioner.
i was pretty upset to find after the repairs were done that i should have mentioned it and would...
Also why are the timing belt kits so damn expensive? i paid $99 for my ABA kit with all continental belts water pump and tensioners.
Its a tough call.....whether to do the belt or chain if youre...
1" longer in diameter? radius? also come with shroud i assume? pics would be great

Sorry to hear that.
I regret not having the dealer replace my brothers chain and tensioner while they were replacing the cam, and follower/pump.
You can probably source a whole used low mile...
bled the brakes again for the hell of it...
and the rear left caliper did not bleed fluid for about a second after cracking the bleeder open....air i guess.
pedal is noticeably higher...

dont forget obd1 and obd2 vr6 equipped cars have different front brakes
It gets old reallyyyy fast.
Get some nice meaty tires, nice coils a finger or 2 above the tire. Aggressive brake pads, and drive it the hell out of it and you'll never look back.

Also i realize that 4th of july might have played a role on the delay.
they did take care of my brother when he went in for a dsg service the week before. So they arent that bad.
It was a regular good ol fsi cam follower warranty repair.
i inspected the cam follower, was broken in half, brought it in but did not tell them i opened and checked it myself because it might...
