Do you use 16v prop valve, mk2/3 load sensing valve or an aftermarket adjustable valve? Seems to me, the least headache on a custom vehicle with a heavier engine would be the adjustable valves.

You could use on multimeter to check engine grounding by touching one end to the negative battery terminal and one end to the cylinder head and checking continuity.
Still have the power steering stuff?
Cleaned up and painted some surface rust between the rocker panel and front fender on both sides. Had to remove the fenders to get at it.
