When I'm reading the faq, it sounds like the ecm can adapt timing. I don't see how; if so, can I flash 'er to the timing that I want?
Ok, now I know that cam position is based off cam and not the gear. Is there adjustable cam gears for the vr6? I really don't think the generation matters.
Idles fine, but at low rpms, you notice the difference when acceleration. if I run 'er above 3200 its sounds fine. I might have a problem with the intake manifold shifter rod tough, bad bushings....
The problem I am having is I let a friend drive my car and they downshifted hard into second aroud 40 45 mph. I trashed the guides and jumped some teeth; but, didn't crash the head.

Its been flashed or chipped... taken it to a shop to see if I can re program to oem spec.
