You mean they don't have it in stock?

They do list one. FYI lots of places call it a RPM sensor.

This was posted back in 2002 and that poster hoped this tradition would carry on.

Those are not going to work on a Corrado 12V VR6 with an aluminum intake.

Those look like they came off a MkIV 12V VR6 engine code AFP with the plastic intake manifold.

Never heard that about the cranks, so I don't believe it.

ECU tuning options for OBDII are better supported with places like C2, Kinetic...etc.

There is no "adjusting" the timing on a VR6. It's set when the chains are installed and the ECU then does all the work.

At one time you could get some aftermarket adjustable cam gears that...

      VR6 Vanagon Swap Error Codes

Edit: Problem solved. Turned out to be the fuel pump relay and a blown fuel pump fuse. I replaced both, so it might of just been the fuse. The fuel pump relay will cause the "short-to-ground" codes....

Got access to or know someone with a mig welder?
I'd try mig welding a nut to the top of the stud and then trying to back her out. The concentrated intense heat of the mig will help break it loose.

      Update

Thought I'd throw a little update up. The engine is in and I'm in the process of doing the exhaust, plumbing and wiring. Hope to fire her up by the end of the month.
