Wash, wax, and photoshoot.
and did not need to fix...
Hopefully not just a scrapper that picked them up.
Found this this morning. Would get them myself but, no use for them.
Could be a lifer. I have had two collapse after sitting over winter.
Washed the engine bay with antifreeze. :banghead:
Factory cluster. I took the gauges out and installed sunpros. Even wired all the leds so they work.
I have a vr6 in my cabriolet and did not like the look of the passat cluster in my dash.
Here is another way to do an electronic speedo.
The electronic speed sensor from the vr6 would thread on in place of the speedo cable on the trans.
not sure how you would calibrate it though.
Wish I had cruise control.
You may want to post this to the manual tranny forum. Guy named broke usually has some good advice to offer.
How does that piece brake?
Do these plastic corners serve any purpose other than holding a shape?
Scored this for $30
What am I missing here?
and what do...
Engine and cluster remain on.
accessories shut off.
better start looking at wiring diagrams. Whatever feeds the engine and cluster may be shorted to power.
What all stays on? Everything? Radio, engine, hvac?
Got all the bits and pieces back in after rebuilding the tranny :)
Took it for a test drive :D
Blew a heater hose :banghead:
Reviving this thread.
I have been playing around with tuning Motronic 2.9 with Tunerpro for a while now. I understand the mapping files that are out there and I think I have improved upon the one...
Got the new muffler hung under it and fired her up. It has been a long winter but it fired right up once I had a good battery in it.
Started to hang the exhaust back under it with a new borla and an extra o2 bung in the hopes of getting a wideband.
