I can't remember how much the foil cost. But I do remember it being outrageous. Like $300
I actually got a new foil for my 82 from the dealer. It was a few years. but worth a try. If not your going to be splicing wires.
I think I installed the hard bushing from a Corrado. Obviously, your throttle cable is too tight.
The only Scirocco GT available in the US is just the badge special ordered from the parts dept. Wolfies yes, GT's no. The low mileage is from the replaced speedo as 83's US spec cars never had that...
Check coil wiring and coil with an ohm meter. This fixed mine that had similar issues.
Looks great! Nothing like a fresh coat of paint. Floor drains in the garage? I wish.
I have the same set up. Did you notice that your sway bar is bending the A-arm? I used generic poly bushes and may I suggest a slightly longer spacer. This will stop further damage to the control...
Dude, I guess you found the perfect hobby for you. Such perfection.
My 1977 924 had these type of brake light switches. They don't work worth a crap. I must have replaced them 6 times in 20 years.
Just ignore my dumbas*. Switches on mc. rear switch defective.
My brake lights only turn on with extreme pressure on the pedal. 82 scirocco with no switches on the master cylinder. Any clue?
I can't believe how lazy that I'm getting in my old age. $20, 45 minutes including new tensioner...done.
My car is perfectly timed, but I noticed that I can easily slip the belt off the cam spocket with my pinkey finger. Can I just tighten it and re-time it or new belt. FYI belt is 14 years old with...
Mad Max Scirocco. Just plain bad. Another customized Scirocco makes the stock Scirocco's even harder to find and more valuable.
A previous owner of my car, removed the throttle pedal stop to make it go faster. LOL
That really is a nice damn color
OH MY! I'm excited
