The N/A version of this engine in my FR-S suffers from the same problem, big torque dip in the factory tune between 4k and 5k...annoying but not that surprising that the WRX shares the same trait.

You're also applying the pricing/deal strategy of an end-of-the-model-run 2014 model to a brand new 2015 and expecting it not to change, which is, uh... not the best way to do that.

There is no V8S, there's an F-Type S but that's the uplevel version of the supercharged V6, which will still be available in rear-wheel drive.
