      I thought...

      I thought they were metering valves....letting the INITIAL pressure be low so as to not lock up the brakes , then letting full pressure in over time. ????:confused:

      Why not build up what you have...more power and twice the reliability and no cooling problems. Why make life expensive and difficult?

      The 8V JH is FAR more reliable!

      after 40 years the lube dries out. Take it all aprt except do not demount the needle. lube the appropriate places.

      at 4500 smack the top of the dash...does the needle go up.....if yes lube it.

      rule of thumb...if the key falls out...too sloppy.

      Not a stretch bolt but need to install to torque spec with lock-tight.
