If you pump the brakes and the idle changes, you sir have a vacuum leak. Either you have some braided vac line that has worn out or the brake booster hose and or check valve have a hole.
I would not mess the ecu vac line it must be an exact length.
I put a vac cap on it.
The isv can be re-routed into the intake plumbing, because the isv will bleed booster over a certain psi.
Their aren't any sensors on the boost return, their is a heater element at the transition from crank case breather hose to boost return pipe. Do you have to have it, I would say no if you are in nice...

most of the non audi and vw cars that were there are mostly registered as club parking, (which means they get a dash ticket) they don't get judged so it doesn't really matter.
