If you want to run the 24v ECU you'll need drive by wire.

If you want to run the 24v ECU you'll need all the ECU harnesses (no splicing) - not saying it can't be done but why incur the headache...

there is no helper pump over there, not a physical electrical pump anyways. He may have problems with the contraption.

It works off of suction from the primary pump.

the suction tube goes to the otherside of the tank, its inside the tank you have to make sure its clipped on to the fuel pump assembly properly so it draws fuel over.

is the suction tube installed properly?

it draws fuel from the drivers side of the tank to the passside where the pump is.

so you'd be using the torsen as the center diff ? Without a center diff there will be all sorts of problems.

Or would you be doing this to replace the clutch packs?

haha ok, its the same platform. You can plug the engine bay/ecu harnesses into the box under the wiper cowl (gti plaform location) and add the dbw harness connections in an OEM fashion.

why not just get the right harnesses?

dbw pedal, ecu, dbw tb, and both ecu harneses cant be more than a few hundred bucks, and it then is plug and play.

You'll need to do a bunch of fabrication, and stop asking ridiculous questions.

Formulate a topic, search the web, search the web again, ask vortex.

Otherwise we just sit here and say this guy...

so you're thinking of the capability of the Ignition Control Module that is built into the ecu, moreso than the ecu's ability to control the coils.

its a time, not a load.

You charge coils with voltage not current right? There will be some negligible draw but it won't be a significant increase going from 2-3ms to 5ms dwell.
