Beats walking :D
Monday at Castle Rock Adventist hospital. Helped solidify my need and desire for a Jetta Wagon.
Looking good. Colorado needs some more sweet Cabby's.
Hope to run into you someday and see your work in person.
I've looked for this type of property in the past. Bone up on your zoning regulations or start looking for rural'ish properties.. Bonus on the rural properties is that you might be able to skirt...
stupid camera phone didn't save most of the decent shots.. boo. Here are a couple more that show some different angles.
Holding it down are obviously the j-hooks and handles at the front and then...
I've always looked at the lines of the Cabby and thought it needed a top similar to the bikini tops I see on Jeeps all...
I believe this belongs here
Seriously? I must have missed this thread because I am kind of interested in buying a Harlequin but this thread reads like a poor example of someone looking for attention.
oooo Very interested! PM sent
Only 87,xxx miles. Looked to be a well cared for car. :(
Yesterday I killed my Cabby. Still haven't really dived in to figure out exactly what happened but judging by the trail of transmission fluid and metal shavings, I'll be swapping trannies soon.
Judging by the noises and sudden loss of tranny fluid this afternoon, looks like I'll be in the market for an O2O for my Cabby.
Anyone have one laying around they'd like to let go for a fair...
Going to toss this shell after finding some rust ;)
Love my well cared for, Colorado car! Can't wait to have a roof...
Didn't see it mentioned yet but the white one pictured in the 1st post is also a 4x4. Customer of mine owns a black one outfitted for outdoor adventures/zombie apocalypse.. roof rack tent, steel...
Sounds rough. How'd you survive?
Can't wait to see where this goes.
Looks so much better than silly stretched tires IMO. Imagine it rides better than stretched tires too.
What are the specs on the wheels? They're hitting the nail on the head!
What would the advantage of clear bra'ing the car be, over garaging it and responsibly caring for the paint? or am I missing something here?
Downtown Castle Rock, Sunday afternoon, I saw a white mk2 Jetta (lowered, on steelies, single rounds) at Perry and 4th. Saw you checking out my Cabby. Was nice to see another early car around town.
Been pondering this myself lately and it would appear there's plenty of space behind the knee bar and under the dash on the passenger side for a head unit. Seems to me it would still be accessible...
Now I know my top wasn't the greatest to begin with but the Gorilla tape was buying me a little time. I was really hoping to make it through the summer before having to install the new top included...
