i got a question. how is it that O & A get in this much trouble for what they did but Howard can have a guy doing a prostitute on live radio this morning and not get anything for it?? does that make sense? is it just because it was a church or what? and if it IS because it was a church, how come its ok for priests to do it?

They made me not mind the HOURS I spend in traffic.

BTW.... I went to see a taping of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire and Paul Mercurio is the guy they have warming the crowd up. I miss hearing him and the scores of other guest comics on O&A.

i've only listened to them once and it was when jim bruer was the guest comic on the show... they were obnoxious and wouldn't let him speak the way he should have. Some parts were hilarious but most of the time they interrupted and botched most of his jokes.

hopefully they aren't like this all the time because i probably won't listen to them when they come back on air if they are.

I would've been quite pleased. I think Jim Bruer is extremely unfunny. The popularity of the Goatboy skit amazed me, it annoyed the hell out of me and was rarely funny. Oh well.

goatboy was pretty lame, but breuer is a riot. his stand up is great and he was hysterical when he was in the studio hanging out with o&a.

and if they didnt let breuer speak that one time when he was in the studio, it was probably because they were just busting his chops. hes very good pals with o&a. hes been in the studio a bunch of times, and they always check out his standup act when hes in town. ive seen opie and anthony at one of breuers shows here on LI a little while back. they support all their comics like that.

I love o&a i would love to know the ratings for 94wysp when they had o&a on the air, and now when they have nothing. That station was the only one on my dial and now I don't even turn the radio on anymore. I'm sure o&a going off the air really hurt some station ratings.

102.7 WNEW COMPLETELY collapsed. They play 24 hours of "holiday favorites' now...and they have been since the middle of November. They went from all talk to that.

Actually the first time I heard them I thought the show sucked too. But it is Like O & A say, you have to listen for a week, which I did. By that time you kinda get the show a little better and get to hear what they are all about. Personally I loved the show.

I would almost guarantee that they already have something worked out with another station(s) to begin broadcasting pretty much immediately after their contract with Infiniti expires. Why else would they have the countdown "Until radio gets really interesting" They are planning an immediate comeback, no doubt about it. Hope it is in Boston!

Are they really running a countdown like that? If so, you are definitely right, they probably have something worked out already.

If Infinity blacklisted them...they will end up with Infinities competitor (which also happens to be the ONLY other major radio conglomerate)...Clear Channel.
