So I'm thinking of doing some plastic welding on my bumper(shaved side markers, fix a crack, smooth out some lines), anybody in the local area have some experience? I'll take it somewhere to get sprayed, but I was wondering if anybody could help me out with their own personal experiences.

Love RPF1's for their weight savings...absolutely hate the way they look (especially on cars like mine). I equate them too much with Eshes car(TC's in general).

Can anyone recommend a good place to go for an inspection in town if I have tinted tails? I stopped into Valley a few weeks ago for something unrelated when a certain someone who seemed to think he was God of all things Parts and Service related proceeded to tell me that the Rabbit would, without a doubt, fail state inspection "anywhere" hands down based solely on the fact that I've had tint applied... And proceeded to laugh when I explained that I've passed 2 previous years here already. Light visible from more than double the 500ft DOT requirement, yada-yada-yada.

I really don't feel like driving all the way out down 87 to BFE just for an inspection since I live in Fay now but I will if I have to. So... any suggested inspection stations?

the guys at valley run there mouth alot. i took in to get something checked under warranty and they complained about my oem euro led tails on my gli. i said they were vw tails and they didnt believe me. an that has nothing to do with my warranty.
