hey guys just wanted to introduce myself my name is cory and i just picked up a 03 20th anni gti last month.. plan on doing little stuff to it nothing major.... also i have a ecs tuning stage 1 suspension refresh kit id like to sell all parts are BNIB

the guys at valley run there mouth alot. i took in to get something checked under warranty and they complained about my oem euro led tails on my gli. i said they were vw tails and they didnt believe me. an that has nothing to do with my warranty.

ill keep those names in mind. i had some issues with my warranty coverage, i was told free maint, turns out i dont get it free, i can do it myself but free is better. an i dont think it was someone in the serv maint dept that said something about my tails. thanks for the names again. i plan on getting some coils around tax time.

just a question. anyone of you guys or know who it is in a mkv gli on alphards. plat grey? was wondering on suspension setup

free maintenance should be through the original warranty and it will be easily tracked through the WIN. if it's through an aftermarket warranty then it becomes a little more complicated. Either of those guys can help though.

well the deal is....bought the car in wilmington at bob king vw only 500 miles. it was never sold on lot. only bought back from vw of america. the salesman told me i would get 3 years of free maint since it was never sold.....well turns out when what ever dealer sent back to vw of america they punched the sales ticket an 3 years ran up with in like feb of this year. valley let me know. an i understand. i called bob king. said there is nothing they could do....oh well. got the oil change an some things checked out. valley was quick an very nice about the whole deal. so far my only issue with it. just hit 10k miles. but thanks for all the info man. i def wanna have a good relationship with dealer esp since i have original an cpo warranty. mostly looking for coils an wheels, eventually ill dig into the engine. thanks again.

Just wanted to poke my head in and say hi, I'm back in a VW... another 20th AE for a DD. I do have a slight issue and just wanted to know what places here in the fayetteville area you take your cars into for work. The dude I bought it from upgraded the front sway bar but botched the install.. My second day driving it the bolt that secures the sway bar to the frame stripped out and now the Drivers side is just knocking around whenever I drive it. If anybody can steer me in the right direction or has the know how on how to re-thread the nut-plate and set the sway bar clamp back in its slot, I can compensate you with Pizza, beer, money.. whatever. And just because pictures make eveything better. Here's of her with Big Brother and my attempt at plasti dip on wheels. IY is a tough color to take pictures of on a phone... just sayin.
