Has anyone bought spark plugs for the TSI engine at a store around here? Is there any price difference between the VW dealers/Audi dealer? Or were any of you able to find them for less money at an auto store. I'm looking for the NGK Iridium OEM plugs.

Also, gap them very carefully!!!! Easily damaged!! I put mine at .030.

Got them (PFR7S8EG platinium) from Bumper to Bumper warehouse on the East side.
Part number for Iridium is BKR7EIX I think.

when gapping the iridium or platinum plugs you cannot use a wedge or step gapper. you have to use a blade gapper (like what yo uuse fro settign valve clearances) and be very careful not to mess up the electrode. but orielly shoudl have them, I know the store in fort does.

Silly kids and yer irridi whatchamacallit plugs...I but Champions and install them how they come out of the box.

Thanks guys. I actually found the NGK Iridium plugs on Amazon for $30 for all 4, and I have Amazon Prime so it's free 2 day shipping and I'll get them Saturday. Who's up for a spark plug installing party because I sure as hell don't have the tools at my apartment. I'll even throw in a nice case of O'Douls!

Was at automotion, saw both of those gtr's. One parked next to us for the burnout pit around 530, but left soon after. Had no spoiler and a cf trunk, think it was white maybe. There was a white supra there too. Some guy in a mk3 jetta gl was driving around too
