Hey anyone interested in a cracked long beach wheel I just had replaced with a brand new wheel? Crack is on the inside about an inch long, holds air for a few days (rate of 5lbs per day). Figured I'd post on here before posting on CL or in the parts section. Let me know.

well, I could be wrong about the actual megasquirt program/firmware itself.. We got it from Kacey already programmed.

It is a 2.0 16v motor w/ cams headers etc.. Wired such that megasquirt controls the spark and fuel. Kacey had the setup running in his rabbit.

I've got it wired properly because we have both spark, and the fuel pump runs. We checked a fuel injector w/ a noid light, and it was pulsing. Sounds like it is flooding out when cranking though. The TPS is connected and we tried to hold the throttle open to clear the flood. It seems like it cranks easier that way, and seems to be running on one cylinder... Or trying to run rather.

I'm going to mess with a few things, but any ideas would help!

PS. it did run for about 30 seconds earlier.

It's Bagpipe's old setup. MS1 on a v2.2 board, an old Patatron unit from before he up and disappeared. It uses the old Midnight_GLI mods for spark output. It's a pretty old setup compared to modern MS units. I'm running the same setup in my GTI, just on an ABA.

I'm trying to troubleshoot over the phone, I have them checking fuses and continuity on the injector banks, and we will go from there.

But yes, I'm trying to convince them to go buy a serial-usb adapter.

Keep an eye on www.longballrally.com, we'll definitely be organizing a group to head down for the dash. Trying to pull as many WI, IL, IN, MI, OH and PA folks as possible for this. The folks that throw dubdash were going to just let it go away and not do it anymore, they decided to give it another chance and I'm hoping to be able to show them that folks are willing to come out and throw their support behind them. We really need to support all the regional shows as best we can.

I'm not too up to date on color abbreviations, but I thought CW=Candy White.

Either way, both my cars are CW's... The JSW is Candy White, and the GTI is Cocaine White.
