I know that Auto Color in Middleton sells Optimum products, I have no idea what the quality of their detailing is though. If you are getting Opi-coat installed you obviously want the prep polishing done right.

Lots of really big branches... and the trunk was roughly 1' diameter. Trunk section is something like 10ft long.

Thanks I will check them out. Unfortunately I waited a little too long after my car was new and now I have a few dents/scratches which may not be fixable, hopefully I can work it out.

Does anyone know where I could find a full interior (both front and rear bench) for a 65 beetle? My car has mkiv GTI seats that are almost bolted to the floor that I need to get away from. Driving position is very bizarre.

$$ depending on condition. Ill probably recover them eventually.

Heh, I was driving on Highway 34 through Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. It's only about an 1100 mile drive from here, totally worth it for the pictures.

So I started looking at all of the paper work in the glovebox of my gli this morning and found some interesting stuff.

A. The people I got my the GLI from spent around 23,000 for it with 27,474 miles on it in 2008
B. They put 43,000 miles on the car is the 3 years they owned it. I have put 26,000 miles on it in the 7 months I have owned it.
C. They replaced one of the head light assemblies the part cost $500 USED.
D. At 46,625 miles they replaced the turbo valve part number 06F-145-710-6
E. That boost gauge was installed by a shop. And removed before I even got plates for the car if I remember right.


Anyway just random bits of car history that was fun to look at.
