I think most shops just order the control arms with the bushings already pressed in...less labor, lower cost, easier install.

I know but I have R32 control arms, I really don't want to buy another set.

if you know of any local machine shops they could probably do it, I used an arbor press when I put
R32 control arm bushings in my new beetle. I'd do it for ya, but I dont live near or work in lake mills any more.

Hey everyone, not trying to cross post this a million times, but I know that some people only look at threads they are subscribed to, and not the entire MW forum.

So one last post on the madison thread on this just as an alert.

There is a practice run tomorrow Sunday October 7th.
I think because of the dry summer, the leaves have changed colors early, so it's really nice out there right now.
8:30am roll out from mc donalds, hwy 41 and county line road, Menominee falls.
All I ask is that if you plan on attending that you be ontime, and PM me if you plan on being there. Right now it looks like we have 8-10 people coming out tomorrow.

The Kettle kruise this year is 2 weeks from today on SATURDAY the 20th. If you are interested in that, you can get info and sign up in this thread:

I saw a rising blue R by the capital around 1pm today. Looked like it had non stock rims, or just really brake dust covered stockers and tinted windows. Seemed like you slowed down to look at my black R parked in front of Starbucks. You on here?

So, I was driving around Baraboo yesterday and saw this:

None of the owners were particularly friendly, but I was cool to see so many Lotii in one place.

Here's my car in Mazo where the house I grew up in used to be.

Anyone in town willing to help me out? I have Brembos on my R and want to run 17" wheels for winter. I know that some 17s will fit but I have only heard of a few that do. I want to try fitting some before I just start buying wheels that I don't know will fit. OEM is ok they simply need to be 5x112 and 17" diameter. Obviously I will drive to meet you wherever. Shouldn't take more than 15-20 mins.

I'm sure you know this, but test fit front and rear. Even if they clear the diameter of the fronts, the calipers or suspension might get in the way in the back. This happened to me once. I had to wait a few more (aggravating) days for spacers to get shipped. Plus an expense I wasn't planning on. LFMF
