I got my first tattoo on thursday! (Not the best photo, sorry. It's from right after I took the wrap off)

On wednesday I saw my favorite singer in concert (Marina & The Diamonds), and I got to meet her after the show. I had her draw the heart on me and I got it tattooed the next day! I love it, and I definitely want to get more now.

Got some color in my 59' Lespaul Standard

Had a dillema between sunburst and goldtop, decided to go sunburst because there are more overall colors, next one will be "The black strat" wich is David Gilmour's black fender stratocaster

Sorry the picture suck, it's harder than it looks to take a picture of this side of my arm on my own haha

and here's the previously done Jimmy Page's Dragon Telecaster:

Getting sleeves and large pieces done that see the sun suck. It already feels like a sun burn and then when you go out in the sun it hurts more. It may only last a few days, but I have missed out on boating trips and stuff because of the new tattoo's.

I'm also just very anal with following the directions with new tattoos. All the cleaning and moisturizing etc. I could deal with no going in the sun, but I don't want to be sweating and **** all day and dealing with the peeling and itching.

    Thanks

Basically both the hawks are to symbolize life's battles/struggles. I chose the hawk because as a child we had a hawk constantly flying around our house. I would see it battling huge groups of crows and (without getting into my life story) thought it would be a great bird to get. The second hawk was actually at the recommendation of my artist, which worked out great. Much cleaner than a bunch of crows, and a bit different then just one hawk. I wanted the hour glass incorporated because time affects all of us, and it's constantly running out.

Just looked it up. Didn't watch the video after I saw a pic of her face while she was getting tattooed. That alone grossed me out.

    A) how the **** does that not get infected/how does it heal properly?
    B) I wouldn't tattoo anyone's *******

I want to know how at a tattoo convention they would tattoo someone clearly wasted and drinking WHILE getting the tattoo!
