I am headed to Davenport IA from May 2-6 for my cousins wedding and I was thinking of getting something small to commemorate the trip. Any suggestions on artists or shops would be great. I always think of getting a tattoo when I am traveling to a new area, but never seems to happen, so trying to plan ahead a little.

i have a friend who does this. gets a tattoo whenever they travel.

i'm going to ohio next month and kind of want to get something as well to start doing that myself.

there was a place across the street from our hotel (Magick Dragon Tattoo @ 8160 South Main Street, Helen, GA 30545 per google), haven't checked em out yet though to see what kind of work they do.. also across the street: a liquor store

Neither, but keep in mind that Helen is a crappy Harley/tourist town. You'll see me out there, but you won't see me in any of their tattoo shops.

Trust is key. Check them out, talk to the artist when you get there. Only you know if you trust or like someone's work.

"Day of the dead" Iirc in English. Has something to do with celebrating the dead

The interpretation I've taken from it is a view on life. The circles represent life. The boy's life is carefree and uncomplicated. He's able to run and play with nothing stopping him. The girl however has a very complicated and complex life. She is envious of the boy and the easy life he has.
