I used to ride everyday up until I got married two years ago then slacked off. Now after moving to Charlotte the neighborhood kids have got me back on my bike everyday and I forgot how great it is to go out and go on late night misions.

S&M Holmes frame ( OG edition that was sitting in my closet)
    Primo Stem
    S&M Pitchforks
S&M Berringer Bars for the height
Alex 48s but 36s would be better
    Kink or Profile 43t
    Primo pedals
DK fixed seat post, the best ever
    Taj grips
and a bunch of other goodies and some zipties

I just got back into it. Never stopping riding, but not really serious BMX for a while.
I got an Eastern Jane 24"(NLA). I thought I would just cruise around and jump stuff here and there. But now I'm looking at a 20", and getting more technical...

Today I put a LiveStrong band on my bike to show my support for my friend with cancer and for the great cause that the LAF is...

The bike looks a whole lot diffrent then it first was when I started the thread. The more recent parts are FBM bars, new Primo seat and Primo Rod seatpost.

My brother in law is in Louisville, KY right now at the NBL Nationals. I've been riding on and off for the last 3 years. My bike is a very early 1980's Patterson. I haven't been riding recently because the frame has a broken weld that needs to be repaired. =( Nothing horrible, it is ridable for everyday, but it isn't broken all the way through, so I don't want to chance it, especially since it is such an old frame. Plus, it has some sentimental value, as it was the frame that my Bro-in-law raced on when he was in jr high and high school.

Wow, i can't believe how long it took me to find this thread.

Well, i dont have any pics uploaded yet, but heres the stuff on my bike, i've added up all the receipts and came to a total close to what i paid for my jetta....

-Standard 250TRLS (trailboss after they changed the name)
-Drilled out rear dropouts to accomidate 14mm axles
    -S&M Pitchforks
-Primo gorrilla sealed cups top and bottom
-robinson sst stem, sanded and edges smoothed out then clearcoated(Rides just like a Standard stem, but cost a ton less)
-Mustache handlebars, cut down about an inch
    -Snafu freestyle (flangeless) grips
    -Snafu Metal Barends
-Profile SS cranks w/ sealed bb
-44t Shadow Conspiracy sprocket w/ guard
    -modified dirtbike chain
    -15t freewheel
-Primo "stock" hubs w/ 14g spokes and hullahoop rims
    -Primo "the wall" back tire
    -S&M dirt tire up front
    -"self-sealing" tubes
    -Primo ROD seatpost
-generic seat guts, cause they break all the time
-Snafu seat, custom wrapped in duck-tape.
    -Welco (S&M style) pedals, unsealed
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other stuff i have for the bike thats not on it currently:
-Demolition pegs, Alum sleeved, steel outside, flat black
    -Primo stiffys
    -Standard pegs
-Primo gauntlet freewhweel guard(not on because I bent it in and broke some spokes )
-Home made front drop-out and spoke guard
-Diatech Dirty Harry brake lever, for when I do run brakes.
    -Diatech 990's

I know this bike inside and out, i've built damn near everything on it, the only thing that i didn't do myself was the drilling of the droppouts, gave to a friend that worked at a CNC machine shop for that, he had a jig made and stuff for it so they would be straight. Yea, i voided the warrantee, whoopdie....and yea, there are better bikes for less now, but at the time i got the frame, standards were the isht.

Im located in western PA if your in the area, drop me a line, always looking to go ride.

Is Hutch still even in business and does Oakley still make grips? Anyone remember the Oakley 3's (ugly grips with wings)

Yes I do! I had them! Your old bike brings back some memories. I last raced BMX in 1983. I went to Woodward BMX camp during the first year it opened for BMX. No big vert ramps or street parks back then. Just one BMX track! LOL!

Hutch is long dead and while the name still has great brand recognition, apparently no one is willing to assume the debts associated with it to resurrect the brand.

Doh! Forgot to add my bike(s). I still have my BMX bike from the 80's: a '82 Schwinn Predator with very little left stock on it. Has a Hutch stem!

The current BMX ride is a Gary Fisher Lush Rush set up mainly for racing. I ride dirt jumps on a hardtail mtn bike set up for Dual.

Funny, I was just thinking of posting, but thought against it because my last bike was a Patterson (suh-weet! ), and who the heck would remember that name. I sold the bike around 1990 to pay my car insurance on an 83 Buick LeSabre

I just bought a new Specialized Rockhopper Comp

I guess its about time I posted up my rig in this thread..

    Its a 2001 K2 Rake frame.

    Yes, K2, the ski company.

    Don't laugh.

Its got the geometry I wanted, and its made of chromoly.
So what if it was welded in Taiwan?

Its got 48H Alex double walled rims, odyssey pro dirt fork and JimC pedals, 14mm axles, macneil 44t guard sprocket, ACS fatclaw freewheel, 2.3" front tire....

    Basically, everything I need=]

I'm actually getting a new bike built for me this weekend. Another custom 21" TT version of a FBM Night Train, with all .035 tubing, seatstay brakes, gyro tabs and the new mid BB. Frame should be under 6 lbs. By next weekend I will have almost a complete new bike, My new Profile stuff is on the way.

    Anyone coming to ghetto street?
