    GEEEZ ITS BEEN TOOOOOOO LONG
    i havnt rode since 98.....
and im thinking about getting back.. but not to BMX
i used to ride for Simple shoes WAY back in 96... are they still around even?
im thinking about getting back into street but with the bigger bikes...
    i dunno.. just an asperation..
good to see there are alot of die-hards still out there.
i used to run down at egg harbor in jersey..
and tioga in pa rode along side robbie ( i think you know who ) a few times down those trails..
good luck... im sure youll do fine only after 9 months... geez im getting back into it after what... almost 7 years...

    your too old and fat!!!

i bought an 04 eastern electron leftover 2 weeks ago - havn't ridden bmx in 12 years, so its a bit of a learning curve, coupled w/ spinal surgery just over a year ago.\

i took some pix of the trails in my neck of the woods, if i remember ill post them up here later, too tired now - sick stuff, rollers thru 12' jumps spanning 35'

most everyone i know rides fbm though, dave king rides w/ my people often and someone's always making a trip up to crandall

I can't believe I've never seen this post until now. I've been riding for a little over 9 years, not so much right now but I still grab the bike and go when I have time. Just built a new 20 foot long grindbox which is just a smidge under 2 feet tall to tool around on in the driveway Anyways I'm riding a Standard TRLS 250 at the moment, just bought a T1 barcode just haven't had the time to put it together yet. I'll see if I can find some pics or something and throw them up for visual enjoyment.

I figured i put up some pics from my trip to New Zealand. It was over a month ago, I'm just really slow at getting these up.

This bowl had some crazy transition and ended up steep as hell but was fun.

This one was brand new and kinda small.

This one was nuts, NZ has some weird parks they call skateparks.

This is Manakau, this is from the first day, it was wet and i was slightly scared that i was gonna take it on the graffiti,

Sorry the pictures kinda suck, my dad really had no idea what he was doing with the camera.

i know this is going to be shot, but who cares..

ever since starting this thread i was going to do my best to get back in to the one thing i loved ever, riding. but, i've almost done the complete opposite. i barely even get a chance to ride my bike because of working 130-10pm nights 6 days a week. when i'm able to ride, i don't. its not that i don't want to, its just that i've been away from it too long. i used to manual a good 100ft or so, now i can barely get 20. no one else is around me that rides still is where i'm at. i want to progress but i can only ride in front of my house for so long until i get fustrated. all the spots around me have turned to ****, or i can't do them. i would goto skateparks, but it wouldn't be worth it paying the money to go once a week. i just really wish i never took time off my bike to begin with.

  26. 06-24-2005 05:24 AM #411
    hey bro

dont fret over not doing the longest manual or the biggest thing, looking at these pages its kind of intimidating to me as well, the only thing i am good at on my bike is falling on the ground. just feel lucky that you can cruise around on your bike cuz some people can't even do that. I understand that progression is what makes it fun but so is bombing the neighborhood on a midnight session.

    peace

yo kids!!!! ATTENTION ALL ANNENTOWN, BETHLEHEM, QUAKERTOWN and surrounding areas. there will be a jam at Josh's house off the Quakertown exit on 476 (PA turn pike) it WILL be worth it as there is usually a pretty decent VW turn out and ALWAYS a good BMX turn out. email TRLSTYLE@AOL>COM for directions to just to know whats up. pic is of the 5' spine mini at this kids house. there are akso trails that run back in the woods.
ok, pic wont work. check out http://www.geocities.com/egyptbmx and go to the pics. its me doing a no foot can on the mini...thats where the jam is. now go.

wish i could goto the jam, but i'm about 200+ miles away, haha.

but the other day, it must have been my luck of bitching online to go out and find this...

i found the grind box chillin in a parkling lot and since its a parking lot, i had it trucked back to my house. the only bad part is its too short. once you get on, you have like 2 feet to grind, then the edge. but oh well, it'll help me someway.
