I know half of the fun going to a big event like this is the night time hotel partys. I myself have partaken in these wild and crazy times. However, I have noticed that people have taken the hotels' patience for granted. I know the hotel we were at last, there were cameras on every floor. By the end of the weekend, they were all stolen. THAT IS NOT COOL!!!!!!! Come on people, get some class. Who ever did that SUCKS!!! That is the reason why it is getting harder each year to get a room for Waterfest. Another thing...right before we left and checked out on Sunday, somebody took a dump in the elevator. That is just wrong. How would you feel to be the guy that had to clean that up?
Now, don't get your panties in an uproar and call me the Fun Nazi. Cause I'm not. To tell you the truth, the cops didn't seem to mind the burnouts all that much. But when hotel crashing and vandalism comes into the picture, then they become buttheads. I would too if I were a cop. Drinking-fine. Do as much as your heart desires. But don't throw bottles all over the place for people to run over, or the maintenance people to have to clean up. There is enough for them to clean after the whole event. Just throw the bottle in the garbage, or just throw it back in the package it came out of.
If everyone put in just a little common courtesy, we would have a much easier time of getting rooms. Not to mention the prices would go down a bit, and people would simply have more fun.
